the great gatsby chap 4-5

In this chap. Nick writes people and their names down in a journal or a piece of paper who was at Gatsbys party. Later that day, Gatsby comes over to Nicks place and picks him up to go to lunch. Mr. Gatsby tells Nick about his past like where he went to school, what happened to his parents when he was young, where he went to school, and how he went to Europe and collected jewels of some sorts. Durning the ride, Gatsby shows Nick some of the things he carrried with him everywhere he went. When Nick asked where he lived in the midwest, Gatsby said California. Gatsby also said later that he was going to tell Nick what happened to him. When they get to the place they were at, they meet Mr. Wolfshiem, who was a Jew. They find a place to sit and start talking about things. After lunch, Nick went to see Jordan Baker. Jordan tells Nick that the details of her talk with Gatsbys talk. She tells Nick that the reason why Gatsby moved to West Egg was that he could be near Daisy, who he was in love with. During the war, in Kentucky, Gatsby sees Daisy and falls in love. Daisy was in love with Gatsby, but when Gatsby left for war, Daisy choose to marry Tom, and drank alot before here wedding
Chap 5 says that when he gets home, he sees that Gatsby's place is all lit up. There wasnt a party going on, nothing. Then Gatsby comes over to Nick, which Nick was on his lawn, invites Nick to come with him to Goney Island, and then a swim in his pool. Nick said no because he was tired. Nick tells Gatsby that he was with Jordan Baker and that how Gatsby was interested in Daisy and how they met and that. Nick agrees to set up a tea party and bring Daisy over for Gatsby to see again. Gatsby was overwhelmed that he would have someone cut his grass and offered Nick to make some money. Nick agrees. The day of the meeting, it was raining and Gatsby was very nervous to see Daisy. Daisy arrives, Nick invites her in, and Gatsby disappeared. The Gatsby returns. Nick leaves Gatsby and Daisy alone for half an hour, and when he returns, he sees them talking. After the sun had shone, Gatsby invites Nick and Daisy over to his place. When they get to Gatsby's place, Gatsby shows them around. When they are in the basement, where the music room is, Gatsby gets Klipspringer, a stranger who just lives around his mansion, gets him to play music. He plays music. After that, Nick gets up to go home and leaves Gatsby and Daisy alone.

Very good summary. I don't understand why Gatsby has all the lights on at his house with no one there. It doesn't make sense.
